The fifth edition of “Arohan Summer Camp” by Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) started. A Miniratna company of the Government of India, located in Singrauli. NCL organizes free summer training camp “Arohan” every year for children aged 6-18 years of the local area. This year this training camp is being organized from 18 May to 16 June 2024.
During this training camp organized for a period of one month, all the trainees will be trained in various sports like badminton, athletics, table tennis, kabaddi, football, cricket, dance, music (singing and playing), painting, lawn tennis, basketball, judo, karate, swimming, boxing, skating and other disciplines by qualified instructors. The main objective of the summer camp “Aarohan” is to awaken the spirit of sports in children and motivate them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Along with this, the mental, physical and spiritual development of children is to be done by promoting the feeling of mutual brotherhood among them. This year 7820 applications have been received through online medium for Aarohan Summer Camp. This camp is being organized in all the projects and units of NCL.
